GNM
GNM is a registered, non-government, and non-profit organization formed in 1983 to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and promote sustainable rural development in India. Registered under the Societies Act of 1860 (Registration No: 143/1983) and with the Ministry of Home Affairs (FCRA No: 01019007 dated 1/2/1985), GNM focuses on sharing the gospel through campaigns, pastor’s conferences, and the establishment of churches.
GNM provides opportunities for rural people to improve their standard of living using their resources through participatory planning, implementation, and training. The organization also supports poor and abandoned children and destitute women, aiming to uplift their lives and provide necessary assistance.
With a vision inspired by Luke 4:18, Good News Messengers Organization aims to continue the mission of Jesus Christ. The primary goal is to preach the gospel, especially to those who are lost, believing that the gospel brings spiritual salvation and emancipates people from social evils. The transformative power of the Holy Spirit through the gospel changes lives.
Our Founders
Late.Bishop. Dr. M.S.Santhavardhan with the help of his spouse Smt. Nirmala Santhavardhan founded Good News Messengers in 1983. GNM is established to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world and to promote and enhance sustainable development in the rural areas of India.
Following God’s call to spread the message of Christ they were able to build several churches in Andhra Pradesh and supports many pastors around India. Kids of Christ Children’s home was started in the year 2000 to help the underprivileged, destitute and orphan kids to study and serve Lord in their vocation.
Bishop Dr.M.S.Santhavardhan visited more than 30 countries and all over India to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was imprisoned in an Islamic nation and was miraculously released for God’s glory. After that incident, God used him mightily in many other countries in the middle-east. God used him to lead numerous people to Christ through gospel meetings, television ministry and El-Shaddai church in Guntur. God enabled him to lead over 8000 people to commit their lives to Christ through Baptism. God used him 36 years mightily for his kingdom.
On September 1,2011 Bishop.Dr. M.S.Santhavardhan went to be home with the Lord. Mrs. Nirmala and Dr.M.S.Santhavardhan have six children. Late Hannah, Shalem, Merlyn, Jacob, John and Samuel. Under the able guidance of Smt. Nirmala Santhavardhan, their four sons have dedicated themselves into HIS service.
Our Director
Bro.Shalem served as Gospel meetings Coordinator for Good News Messengers under Rev.M.S.Santhavardhan from past 18 years. He has been active in church ministry. He worked as a lecturer at Andhra Christian college, Guntur. He is working on his PhD at S.K University. He resigned his Job after God called him to full time ministry.
He is married to Ms.Sharon(School Teacher) and they are blessed with three wonderful girls Shirley, Francy and Sansy. He is pastoring the El-Shaddai church main campus and Postal Colony (branch) along with Pastor T.VijayaBabu (Retd.Sp.Engineer). God enabled him to lead numerous souls to commit their lives to Christ. He is a prominent young Christian speaker that is being used mightily for the Kingdom of God.
